After reading review upon review I purchased the 305 even though many women reported it being too bulky for them. I am so pleased with the product that its features far outweigh any bulkiness issues for me. I have small wrists and tighten the strap to the next to the last hole.
I’ve used my Garmin for all training runs, a 5k, my 1st half marathon and several long bike rides in the few weeks that I’ve had it. I wish I would have purchased it long ago, it’s a great tool to aid in my workouts.

I have had several pedometers, some of which did not last, some which were not accurate, and some which kept resetting themselves without warning. So far this is the best pedometer I have ever had. It does everything it claims it can do. It has been extremely dependable. I keep track of every step I take, for the Move program at the VA, and average approximately 12000 steps per day. This pedometer has yet to miss a step.

I start of by saying this is a review for the console not prices and combination packages. Console – This is a great console it’s lots of fun, especally in groups but also good by yourself. The graphics are not as good as a PS3 for example but they not ment be. To really enjoy this you got to get the right games like Mario Kart, Wii Sports Island, the Olympic games, any tennis game and Wii fit. If you want something for a great shoot ‘um up get something else. This is great and is lots of fun for adults and children a like.
Wii Sports – It’s a great game in it’s self Tennis and bowling is brilliant. Boxing, golf and baseball are also fun but (sometimes)can take a while to get into them. With it’s scoring system you only play computer players of your standard and and that scoring systems gives something aim for.

my son purchased 2 tap on scales as presents for my wife & i in 2009.
in about 6 months, the scale my wife was using in her bathroom begin to require almost violent tapping to activate the scale, but my scale performed perfectly. i called the company & spoke to the president who was very polite & accomodating. he listened to my situation & said he would send out a new scale the next day. no mention of returning the old scale first, which we still have. the scale arrived in about 3 days. and my wife is very happy with a scale that doesn’t require any action on her part to check her weight.
based on this experience i would highly recommend this product & company(EARSMART)

I got the Furminator from Amazon and saved at least $10 or more from the retail pet shops nearby. My only complaint which is insignificant for the money I saved is that it instructs you to keep the comb covered with the plastic protector when not in use. Good idea except for the fact that although my package was sealed, the plastic protector enclosed must belong to a much larger Furminator. I have to keep the cover secured to the Furminator with a rubber band. Other than that it does seem to get a lot of the fine hair out, although I have not seen miraculous results yet as I have a short haired dog. It is shedding season as it is getting warmer out so I continue to use it every day. Looks fine enough to use as a flea comb, too, although they continue to elude me. This 2-2/3 inch edge is almost too big for my sized dog so be sure to get the right size if you have a smaller dog. I was on the fence for the size and decided I’d rather have free shipping and get the bigger size. I wish I would have bought this before the first stiff bristled and brass bristled brush that I got for my dog which is almost useless!

I have read a bunch of novels recently that kept me engrossed for the first 70-80% and then faded badly. Water for Elephants is worth reading right to the satisfying ending. It is very well paced and has interesting twists and all the characters seemed real to me.

I had never considered the 1930’s touring circus as a basis for righting a novel. Now I want to learn more about it. That’s because Gruen does such a nice job describing it. The characters (and the animals!) are very human and I think she captures the time they lived in quite well. I am impressed that there are over 1000 reviews and still more coming for a book that’s been out now for over 4 years. It speaks to some of the universal qualities that appealed to me and perhaps other readers. The lead character is interesting, he’s human and he has reflected on a life well lead while yearning for more. I see a little bit of my father in there!

One thing I am always looking for is how well a writer can give voice to a character that is so different from him or herself. Ms Gruen as a modern woman writing in the first person a man in the 1930’s does very well in making Jacob a believable character. The writing is tight, swift and it was a pleasure to read.

I bought this scale after returning one (Taylor Brand) that was very inaccurate. I have been using it every day for 2 weeks and have had consistant results. It reads about 2 pounds less than the scale that I use at work (nursing) which is not an unreasable difference between two different scales. The first few days I weighed several times a few minutes apart and received very consistant results. I even weighed with clothes on and clothes off and received appropriate results. The scale is heavier than I expected but hopefully that means that it will not break anytime soon.
