I love this little device. I especially like the way it tracks the aerobic steps you have taken. The ability to track steps, aerobic steps and the amount of time you walked aerobically, number of miles walked, and calories burned are great features. I wish the memory feature would allow me to go back to previous days and see all four functions (steps-aerobic steps-calories burned-miles walked) for a particular day instead of having to search the memory for each individual function. I recommend this pedometer to anyone serious about tracking steps.

This battery did not work on arrival. Would pretend to charge, (orange on magsafe) but nothing. After fiddling around with some stuff I finally got it to charge. But it only charges when you are physically pushing on the bottom of the battery! It does not fit flush with the bottom of the laptop, but when you push it in it works fine. I just sent it back, and I am going to buy an actual apple battery!

Works great! It keeps accurate mileage and it is easy to setup. A pause or reset would be nice because I have to keep the unit inverted until I get on the trail. I only want to track how far I hike; I don’t want to track the drive to the trailhead. This is a major design flaw. I still give it 4 stars because of the quality and accuracy.

Pros: Elegant, small (for 2 TB), easy to setup on the network (home), and fast.
Cons: no Windows 7 compatible SW for backup (common!), noisy

I recommend it, and use Windows 7 backup instead of the crap it comes with.

I won’t go into a long review here– I read mostly non-fiction because fiction typically bores me. About 10-20% of the time, though, I like to switch to fiction to enjoy “lighter” reading than the non-fiction I typically read. I picked up Catcher in the Rye in a bookstore on a whim the other day. It really, really blew me away! I NEVER laugh out loud when I’m reading, and I must’ve literally laughed outloud several dozen times when reading this book. It was SO funny! And just brilliantly written, enjoyable to read, fun but serious at times, etc. Just a great book, a classic, and one that I should’ve read earlier in life (I’m 37 now). I will likely re-read it every few years just to remind myself how much of a page-turner it was…

Easy to set up. Easy to take down. The only limit is that the individual sections do not lock, so the pen can be disrupted by even small dogs. My 2 Jack Russell puppies can practically move across the room by pushing each secton. They must study & develop a plan!
