The Garmin Portable Friction mount was recommended to us and we are very happy with it. It sits on the dash and does not move at all. It can be put in the console so that no one can see that we own a GPS. It is stable, strong and we are very happy with it. And…. it is much cheaper on Amazon than other sites.

This charger only charges, when I plug my 5G iPod in to my computer (Vista), it isn’t recognized whatsoever. Another reviewer says that it works with older models, I don’t have the means to test that but I suspect it might be true. And the charging is excruciatingly slow. After about 6-8 hours of charging, my battery meter was about half full.

I have had my Kindle for just over a month and I love it. I have read more books in the last month than I probably have in the last 10 years. It is so convenient to carry around and I can read just about anywhere. I’ve had plenty of people ask me what it is. The Kindle DX might have been nice with the larger screen, but for the price and portability I am very happy with the 6″ screen. Ordering books couldn’t be easier and you can’t beat the price on those either. I have found so many of my favorite books that were free. Thinking about buying one of these for my girlfriend and parents.
