The is one of the best books I have read in a very long time. I have already loaned it out to a friend to read, and it was recommended to me. Thank goodness the author has taken the time and effort to bring the role of the Negro maid to the attention of us all.

Thought for a long time about it. Checked a lot of other devices. Based my decision on the fact that I wanted a reading device and nothing else. After 6 months I am still convinced this is the best I could find. No comparison with other devices I have seen. Took it to the beach during my vacation and simply enjoyed reading and reading without carrying books around. I have it always with me where ever I go. I read so many books I had no space left at home where to put them. Solved it with my new Kindle 2. Hope to see more Italian language books for this device, but will avidly keep reading English books while waiting for it. Might be buying one for my kids at that point.

I do not want a permanent mount so I opted for the latter. During a long journey, it tends to move forward a little bit, but this is not a constraint to push back a little from time to time. I think this must be provided with a weighted frame, so I’m not complaining. I do not think it’s “ugly” as one critic said, it’s supposed to be utilitarian, not decorative. And it is very easy to remove it from my Garmin so I can secretly out of sight.

Conversations with God : An Uncommon Dialogue (Book 1)
I found this book interesting. Contrary to the teachings of The Holy Bible, the author claims that satan is a “myth,” that Jesus was only a great person (no mention of “Savior”), and seemed to imply that the “things written down 2000 years ago” are open to debate. My questions is this: If all these things written 2000 years ago about God and Jesus were true, WHY would God, in “speaking with Mr. Neale Donald Walsch (as he claims)”, suddenly reverse his previous statements about satan, the validity of the Bible, and the absolute sovereignty of Christ?
I am a skeptic, and I like to think I have an open mind. This book was recommended to me by a colleague. However, I could not help but thinking that Mr. Walsch definitely has a “profit motive” in his writings. “If the item sells, continue to write.” Never mind it may be misinformation. Mr. Walsh, I hope you get this “God thing” right- your eternity may depend on it.
Please reference “Evidence that Demands a Verdict,” by Josh McDowell. A professed athiest that became a Christian because of his research. Go figure.

As with other reviews the dirty tank does feel up faster than the clean tank empties so this means more trips back and forth to the sink. So far I’ve cleaned all the carpets/rugs in my home and they look amazing. I haven’t touched the furniture just quite yet but will be doing so tomorrow. The machine is easy to use once you get the hang of it and pretty light-weight although very loud.

It’s great for carpeting. It kicks the butt of vacuums 3 times the price. I live with 2 cats (1 with super fine hair), I have long hair myself, and a long haired boyfriend. One pass once a week picks up every bit of fur/hair and fluffs the carpet nicely. It sucks up heavy particles like small wood chips, and large floppy things like ficus tree leaves.

I have dust/particulate allergies. Wall to wall carpet and dust allergies are a bad combo. This machine keeps my carpet so dust/hair free that I don’t notice my allergies and I need no allergy meds. With my old vac, (Eureka Mighty Mite) I could vacuum 3 times a week and still sneeze.

The beater bar doesn’t get much long hair wound around it, I only pull loose the wound hairs once after I’m done vacuuming all 600 sq ft of carpeted rooms. This is a wonder to me, every other beater bar I’ve tried starts to slow down from hair windings within 2 minutes.

The exhaust port is tall, and shoots air out to the left of the body. Every vacuum (except central vacs, where the motor and exhaust are located outside the house) is gonna disturb dust with the exhaust port blowing air. This ones exhaust doesn’t interfere with cleaning while on carpeting.

On bare floors it’s a different story. The exhaust air bounces off vertical surfaces and swirls the dirt around. This vacuum kinda blows for bare floors. I use a cannister vac or a dust mop on bare floors.

It weighs about 16.5 pounds. I can lift it easily with one hand. It pushes easily across the carpet, even on the lowest setting called “bare floors”. I barely exert any effort pushing this thing around.

The cord measures approximately 24 ft 8 in. That’s long enough to be useful, not so long that I have to wrangle the cord.

It’s not quiet, but it’s tolerably noisy and lower pitched. No painful high pitched screaming whine. Unlike most other vacuums I’m not compelled to wear my Peltor ear goggles while vacuuming, and I don’t have ringing ears after I’m done. The

Spirituality, God, Religion these are very touchy subjects for most people. This book is an amazing take on religion. Neale Donald Walsh is a truly gifted author. If you are interested in christianity with a little less guilt read this book.

Yeah, it’s cheap. So i thought: it’s only $3 so i’ll give it a try. Well, I got taken. I connected it, and got an average picture but no sound. So I disconnected it, rerouted the cable and reconnected. This time i got a snowy picture, with sound. So, after reading the troubleshooting guide, i went to Best Buy and bought a $30 cable. It worked perfecto. If it’s too good to be true, it really isn’t worth it. This product should not even be sold by Amazon. It isn’t suitable for the average person to use in normal home usage.

I bought this to use with my Canon Powershot S3 and it’s worked for almost 2 years now without a problem. It should work in any camera that supports SDHC; if you’re unsure, check your camera’s manual, the camera manufacturer’s web site, or google it. I can fit tons of pictures and even video on this one little card. Now I have a few Transcend cards and they’ve all been reliable; I choose to have a few of medium sizes rather than 1 big card just in case I lose it or something. The picture comes up quickly on the camera, so there’s no delay in writing to the card.
