This item came without parts that are listed for inclusion. Specifically, a strap and a battery. What is my option here besides return? Does the company replace these missing items?

Friendship From Your Old OK?

We love our WII system. I have purchased alot of my favorite old school games like Mario Brothers the origianl right on the WII shopping channel and its just as fun as it was years ago. Great buy!

Solution From Problem to low class

I took my new Kindle on vacation with me and I’ve given my old Kindle (first generation) to my husband. I found in the design it takes a little more effort to ‘pushing’ the next page and the back page buttons. I also like the fact that the cover for the battery does not come loose as it did on my old one. I still love it.

From My Space To headache

First of all, the wii is definitely best for more casual gamers and younger kids who buy more less violent games. So, if you fit that description than the wii is definitely for you.

Pros
Motion control. It’s fun to actually move and shake the wii remote instead of just pressing buttons definitely a plus. Note that you won’t be able to replace wii with exercise, since most of the time you will be flicking your wrist to use the functions.
Wii shop
In the wii shop there are lots of games for past systems and new channels to add, there are games of all kinds and there pretty cheap, so there’s bound to be something for everyone.
Backwards compatible
This part ticked me off about the playstation 3, it was not backwards compatible to ps2 games. But the Wii is, so I can still play all my gamecube games on my wii.
Cons
Inferior graphics
The graphics on the ps3 and xbox 360 are much better than wii graphics, which is definitely a weak point.
Not enough hard-core games
There are plenty of games for the casual gamer but not many games will appeal to hard core gamers.
In conclusion I think the Wii is a very good system for casual gaming, so I give it my seal of approval.

From Columbus People County to you

This is the first book I’ve felt compelled to write a review about- it was so good. An honest and hopeful book that made me want to pick it up every chance I got. Great read. Love that it’s the author’s first novel too. Congratulations to Kathryn Stockett.

From Sea Summit to line

The Wii is a lot of fun. But, here, five months after purchase, I have to send it in for repair. Nintendo tells me the “card reader” is likely shot. It will not read any disc. I tried their cleaning kit, to no avail. Five months of use. My old Gamecube lasted six years, sometimes being left on 24 hours a day for weeks. My Wii, in comparison, was babied, never played more than a few hours. I will say that Nintendo’s customer service seems quite good, and they’re repairing it free. Still, a month without a game console is not fun. I thought, being Nintendo, the Wii would be ultra reliable, but Nintendo tells me that mine is a common problem.

Do you really like Orchard Treats From The ?

I got this watch for $120 a few years ago. I cannot run or bike anywhere without it. It tracked everything. I like to use it when I go to new places, then upload the GPS info in Google Earth to see where I am, very cool……

Happy on Live Top ZZ from

I have seen ZZ Top live several times over the years. This dvd perfectly captures their current show. Sound quality is good. I recommend that yet purchase this disc if you are a ZZ Top fan!

No more .. Articles From the Writing

As a straight, non-Christian mother of two I found this book to be highly offensive as an opinion piece (the writer is homophobic and believes in censorship) and worthless as an aid for writers (the section on humor was flat and the advice is the same in other (and better) books that don’t feel it necessary to force Christo-fascism down the reader’s throat). I am only thankful that I bought this book used for $1. It removes any guilt I might have had over throwing the book in the trash had I paid new price for it.

This review is particularly of Nathaniel Parker’s narration, and not so much of the Artemis Fowl book itself, as there are already so many reviews on that.

If you want an auditory treat, get this audiobook – Nat Parker is a genius when it comes to bringing these characters to life. He does wonderful accents – there are multiple Irish accents for Artemis, Butler, Juliet and Angeline, but many others for the fairy people which are just amazing. In addition, his own, natural speaking /reading voice is so smooth , resonant and perfectly paced that is is a treat in itself. Unlike other audiobooks which I have listened to, you can’t hear him breathing – with some readers you hear every big breath they take and it gets irritating. He reads it perfectly and the great fun is in the rapid dialogue exchanges where he must manage different voices with different accents as well as the narrator’s voice.

The story itself, well, there are some boring and technical parts which I tried to read, and Artemis’s character is not terribly likeable, but the way Parker voices him makes you feel some affection for the character.

If you like the books, this is a worthwhile addition because of the way the characters are brought to life – and if you didn’t like the books, it’s a great listen just for Parker’s enormous vocal talent.
