I purchased this item to share music, video, & photographs in my home network. I am using windows XP and Vista on the network, and it works without a flaw. I mapped drive letters to each of the computers and my Zune software can sync to it without any problem. It does seem to be a little slow, but when you are transferring more than 100 GB. That probably is going to take a little time. Or it may just be my router that is a little slow.

There is quite a bit of discussion about the software that came with it not allowing you to transfer media, but because I am not using that software and only using it in my internal network. I do not have that problem.

This is iTouch is everything I expected. Works really well, sound quality is not too bad, right amount of storage for me, and there are plenty of applications that you can install. Overall I would rate the actual iPod itself 5 stars. Apple, however, gets rated 3 stars. When I first ordered the iTouch, it came preloaded with the newest OS for it. It ultimately worked for all of 15 minutes, and then ceased to work. No matter what I did, it would remain in it’s recovery mode. Fortunately, Amazon has great customer support and sent me a replacement one right away. This one came with 3.13 installed on it, and this new one has been working perfectly ever since. 5 stars for Amazon and their amazing customer support.
Singing Violins Book CD

Several months ago one of my domestic short hairs started shedding. It was spring, shedding was to be expected. She was shedding a LOT, so much that when my husband and I went to pet her gobs of hair would go flying everywhere and we would both end up with stuffy noses, even though we both have very mild allergies. Her fur was EVERYWHERE- even in gobs on the ceiling fan and the WALLS. This went on for months, and when I realized she’d been shedding this much for too long I got worried. When I pulled her hair just seemed to come out! So panicked and took her to the vet. He checked her out and told me there was nothing wrong with her- she was perfectly healthy, but just had a heavy undercoat that wasn’t coming off with my normal brushing. He pulled out one of these babies and did a once over- I was standing there panicking and asked a few times just to make SURE that she was okay.. I couldn’t believe all the fur that was coming off!! He recommended this to me, so I went home and did my research on it.

I ordered and when it came in I sat my kitties down to be brushed. Due to the reviews I was careful about how much pressure I put on the brush, and brushed like the vet did (not a normal brush). Here’s the thing (IMPORTANT TIP:) you need to brush in short bursts (one or two inches, maybe more), and go back up and start near where you ended, and repeat going down the way the fur grows. You can do this in a faster motion if you’d like, just don’t do it with too much pressure. If you just drag it all along the cat, I would imagine that may just rip the hair and just not be very good in general. I was careful about how many times I went over them, but never saw any thinning at all.

Lots of fur came off of both of them, and I finished up with a regular wire brush to smooth things out and get the extra out, then pet them lastly to get any stuff hanging around. Works like a charm! I LOVE this thing! Both of their coats are even softer and shinier than they were before (they

I love this product but the mapping feature is no good. It never maps the correctly. The lines are way off and they don’t include all streets. Hear Rate & Speed are perfect.
A Little Book of

Works fabulously! I have moved most of my personal data to it; all video, music, and picture files – and am installing any new programs to it instead of to my laptop’s hard drive.

There is a few second delay in finding the files at first, only because it seems to be resting and has to sort of wake up – but nothing that is irritating.

Sometimes, reading a book, you wonder about editorial decisions, mostly to do with scenes or plot twists/direction that just do not belong. With this book, I would not have included the photographs that begin each chapter. I thought the writer was doing a more than adequate job in her descriptions and thought the photos detracted. Also, do not need the author’s note at end. Don’t remind us this was fiction, created and crafted; we want to shut the book and remember the story.
Really Easy Violin Book

The great point about the Kindle is that it offers just what you expect. Great readability, (relative) usability, good capacity, good battery life… isn’t that a good e-book?
On the not-so-clear side, I think it should be easier to charge with books not bought in Amazon. But it is not.
Ski Gymnastik DVD Book

This particular WD 1 TB external hard drive comes with software that automatically installs and then precludes you from selecting specific folders to back up. I had to email WD technical support so I could use it as a normal disk drive and choose what I wanted to copy to it. Very frustrating experience. Their World Book was great. Weird – two similar products, same company, one excellent, one that drove me nuts.
