I was more or less forced to buy, because I purchased a new computer. It was a learning curve to figure out where everything I use in Office 2000 was, as the format is all-new. The biggest drawback is new document extensions (.docx instead of .doc), and they are not fully compatible. I guess Bill just needed even more money.

Artemis Fowl is a 12 year old criminal mastermind from Ireland. He believes he has discovered the underground of world of fairies.
In Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, Atermis. with his trust strongarm and bodyguard Butler, comes across a sprite posing as a healer and acquires from her the fairy holy book written in Gnomish.

Meanwhile the pretty and tough elf policegirl Captain Holly Short, of LEPrecon is pursuing a deadly troll who has escaped aboveground, and is kidnapped by Artemis to ransom her for copious amounts of fairy gold,. Holly is put under the care of Butler’s sister, Juliet, a blond 16 year old bodyguard in training.

Artemis has taken on LEPrecon and has not reckoned with LEPrecon Commander Juius Root who will stop at nothing to rescue Captain Short. LEPrecon is aided by centaur Foaly. A lot of exciting and fast paced action sometimes too much of it to allow for much character or scene development.
A great deal of wit and humour which is possibly the main attraction of the books.
Technology fans will love the high tech elf equipment.
Plenty of weird and wonderful characters- my favourite being the mesmerizing Captain Holly Short.
Not quite a modern classic but it is loved by teen and pre-teen audiences internationally.

A little hard to get used to using, but you can change the settings and make it look quite a bit like the old products in this suite. I like it a lot. Very nice and worth the $$, especially since I’ll get 2010 free!
Horse Bean Bag 1

What can I say other than I love this book…and the rest of the saga. The characters felt so real to me I couldn’t stop thinking about them and their little world for weeks!! Great series for ALL ages!!
Body Bag Album Version

I bought this for my wife for a birthday gift even though she said she wouldn’t want one. My wife is an avid reader and enjoys bringing a couple books every time we go somewhere. I realize it was a bit of a risky gift, given the fact she said she wouldn’t like one. However, every single person I talked to raved about how wonderful this device is and how they can’t imagine reading with anything else.

I will make this review short and sweet, the same is true for my wife. She has not put it down since it first entered her hands. In 5 days she has purchased about 9 books and read through 4 of them.

If you read a lot, this product is for you!
DURAGADGET Donut Bean bag

I have a kindle 2. I have had it about 6 months and have absolutely loved it. Although right now, I am greatly disappointed with the availability of new releases. Rumor has it that there is some kind of fighting going on between Amazon and the publishers – although Amazon has yet to say anything about it. All I know is the books that I want, that just released, are not available in the kindle format… yet they ARE available in the Barnes and Noble’s Nook format.

The kindle itself is awesome. I could go on and on about the kindle, and all the cool things I like about it. But not being able to get the books you want to get… well, that is a problem. It almost makes me wish that I bought the Nook instead! And that just makes me sad….
