I was a bit skittish about purchasing this item after reading some not so good reviews, but I am here to say that I am happy that I did. You can’t beat the price!
Eva Case for Garmin

I am struck by the number of reviews based mostly in regard to dialect in this book. WhenI first heard KS interviewed on NPR about this book, she said that was the hardest part, “to capture the voice of the character.”

One thing I am particularly interested in is how KS captured they way each character “heard” and “said” the dialect of other characters. The way Skeeter demonstrates Minny is different from the way Aibileen demonstrates Minny. I also think it’s funny how Minny demonstrates Hilly Holbrook compared to the way Aibileen does. It’s a character development tool, and a clever one.

While, I too, would have expected a few more verbs ending in -in’ and not -ing, I do think that Minny & Aibileen using verbs ending in “-ing” to characterize the white women in their lives only drives home their view of those ladies, whether it’s Skeeter, Hilly or Celia (who had a different twang altogether).

While I have read this book, I fully recommend the audio version of this book. It reveals some different levels that I think are missed in a simple read.

365 DAYS OF SPORTS

This was the cheapest I have seen this game, and I have been looking for a while. I thought that I was going to have to buy the wii sport. It was nice that it was included.It did not take long to get and it works great.

My daughter-in-law’s neighbor had purchased the furminator and gave us a demonstration. Both my daughter-in-law and I immediately ordered one. It is amazing. The amount of hair that comes off the dogs is unbelievable. It is so much better than a brush, which sends hair flying all over. The first time I used it I filled two shopping bags in about 10 minutes from the dogs. I use it weekly now and there has been so much less hair in the house. Great product.

Another great volume in the Macross series! That, combined with a second in-depth interview with Mari Iijima just keeps the interest level high! If you like hearing Mari as Minmay in the series, then you should also see all the rest of the wonderful things she’s done by going to www.marimusic.com.

ADV did a great job re-doing the series, plus having it remain uncut was a wonderful way of bringing a new generation into the Macross fold, so now they can see it the way it was meant to be seen!

Thought for a long time about it. Checked a lot of other devices. Based my decision on the fact that I wanted a reading device and nothing else. After 6 months I am still convinced this is the best I could find. No comparison with other devices I have seen. Took it to the beach during my vacation and simply enjoyed reading and reading without carrying books around. I have it always with me where ever I go. I read so many books I had no space left at home where to put them. Solved it with my new Kindle 2. Hope to see more Italian language books for this device, but will avidly keep reading English books while waiting for it. Might be buying one for my kids at that point.

The Results and Lessons

A “must have” for portability. Somewhat awkward to store in auto, but certainly does a good job holding the GPS. Item highly recommended.
