I just got this vacuum, and it seems to work fine. However, the design is very flawed. I had a hoover vacuum prior to this which was purchased in 1996. It recently broke, which is why I bought this one. Two things that really, REALLY bug me:
1) The old vacuum had a storage compartment for the extension wand tools right below and in front of the top handle. There was a clear/see-through plastic lid which you had to lift to access the 3 tools. This new vacuum does not have this handy compartment-the tools are placed separately behind the vacuum in different places.
2) In the old hoover, the hose was stored on the RIGHT side of the vacuum. All you had to do was drape it over a piece of plastic on the right side and then stick it in its hole at the bottom. The wire was coiled in the back. In this new vacuum, the hose goes BEHIND the vacuum, RIGHT behind the wire. So you have this mess of coiled wire and a coiled hose (and don’t forget the tools)….what the…?!?! A very fatal design flaw, in my opinion. Really, hoover? REALLY? Come on, this is 2010, your 1996 product made much more sense in terms of design.
Even though the old vacuum had a 7.3-amp motor compared to the 12-amp one in this vacuum, it was still a powerful vacuum with great design. It lasted 14 years and helped me tremendously…God bless the “Hoover Dimension Limited” vacuum. This new vacuum has some pretty large shoes to fill, so to speak.

Read about Steel KitchenAid Stainless Euro now
Very nice peeler except it’s missing a feature that every other peeler I’ve ever seen has; a protuberance that can be used to remove the eyes from potatoes.

I LOVE MY KINDLE. I am an avid reader and it can get quite expensive when purchasing books. However with the Kindle I can get more books for less money. The font enlargement on the screen is a great feature for those who may need to enlarge the font. The buttons are easy to use and the device is quite user friendly. I love the fact that I can sit on my balcony in the sun and read the Kindle without any glare. I previously had a Sony E-reader and that was okay, but the Kindle is soooo much better. I gave it 4 stars only because I do have to admit there is a problem with the screen. This is my second kindle, since december 2009 (my first was an xmas gift), because on the first one my computer screen crashed. I was unable to reboot the device, but Amazon was GREAT and EXPEDIENT about replacing it (at no charge I might add and in 24hrs via “FedEX overnight). The customer service was also courteous and knowledgeable. Not something you normally find today. I also wish that it had internet access, besides being able to search for books on amazon. Overall higly recommended!!!

I take my time before buying things and for a couple of years I had been joking about buying an XBox. When the time to buy came, I researched and decided on a Wii. It exceeded anything I could have expected. The two points which sold me are 1) you have to get up off the couch and get active to play and 2) the focus isn’t so much on violence, blood and killing. I’m a senior citizen and my daughter picked this up for me. We played it until our arms were numb and she is looking to get her own Wii so we can play on-line. I check the daily weather and news stories on my Wii and my friends and I will soon start a bowling league. For the price, you can’t beat this system. If I were paying 50 cents for every game I played, it would have paid for itself in a month or two. The software selection is great and the prices are reasonable. I rate the Wii right up there with the Internet and the ATM. Get yours and you’ll see.

Take Pink Poodle Paris in
I have purchased several pedometers over the past few years with the hope that they live up to what the manufactor says it can do. Another person told me about this pedometer that keeps accurate steps whether it is in your pocket or fastened to your belt. I thought by word of mouth is better advertising then what the manufactor has been putting on the packaging, so I purchased the Omron HJ pedometer and I too am a believer in this pedometer as being accurate and one of the best pedometers out on the market. I love the different modes, and the easiness in working it.,

What can be said. A cable is a cable. It either works or it doesn’t. This one works, is easy to use, and appears to be of high quality.
