Wow! drink Eat and be

Since installing MS Office 2007 on my desktop and two laptops I have had nothing but problems and I use Word extensively for my work to write complex reports. The problems we have experienced, and continue to be plagued by are; numerous security updates through MS that have created hardware problems, the fact that MS never informed us that Office 2007 did not have a compatible spellcheck interface with Outlook Express, documents and whole folders disappearing from one computer to another on USB drives, and creating such an impossibly complicated version of Word that it is taking me months to use it….and I was exceptionally adept at Word 2003, which we thought was a great program and used for years.

NICE GOING MICROSOFT. WE NOW UNDERSTAND WHY MS IS SO DESPISED!

Of Proceedings the International problem!

I decided to try this pedometer after using Digiwalkers aka Accusplit for about 8 years. I wanted something that would be more accurate in my pocket because while the Digiwalkers I have used (2 in 8 years) have been great as far as on the waistband, once in awhile in my pocket they tilt and stop counting. Well this one not only doesn’t START counting when clipped to my waist or bra, it does not count in my pocket at all! I usually walk according to the Digiwalker Accusplit mode 170XLGM JW200 about 7,000 steps working–this registered 654. I tried various ways of putting the Omron in the pocket to count to no avail. My husband’s generic pedometer he got during some employee health week counted within 100 steps of the Digiwalker (I had all 3 pedometers on for 2 days now). I’m disappointed and surprised at how many positive reviews this product has and wondering what I am doing wrong. I do like the memory function, it’s easy to set up, and the screen is easy to read–but if it’s not accurate it’s useless. Plus it’s INCREDIBLY bulky.

Moen 3 TL3600WR 4 OK?

This is no doubt the best dog brush I have ever owned. I can’t imagine anything working better. This one does not have the “ejector” button, but then it was also about $30 cheaper than that model. My neighbor has the “Ejector” model, and he and I agree, it doesn’t really add much value. If you buy one of these yellow ones, shop around on Amazon. I couldn’t believe what a bargain I got, especially when compared to what they want to charge at the big box pet stores.

Wow! Grieving Your Heart Healing

I bought this book for my husband and me to read. I had seen the movie — albeit, to keep me from panicking — during an extremely rough flight down to my bridal shower in GA. It did keep me interested enough to distract me from the lightening and turbulence. The movie itself was OK — a good rainy-day, don’t-have-to-think-much sort of film. So I got the book — because generally speaking, it is a good assumption that the book will usually be better than the movie.

I like Edward. I like his family. The idea behind the story is definitely different and interesting. The skill level of the author — I had to assume it was written for young adults, and so I tried not to expect too much. It wasn’t terrible, but it wasn’t astonishingly good either. I had spoken with my husband’s cousin — admittedly, a 16 year old gothy sort-of girl, obsessed with vampires in general — who told me it was “GREAT, buy the book, Meyers is as good as Anne Rice.”

Ooh. Not a particularly accurate comparison. Sorry. Now, I love vampire stories in general. Love stories are OK. Combine the two with a vampire falling in love with his prey — excellent start. But Bella just seems a bit boring to me so far — it got much worse as the series progressed, but so far she is just sort of “eh.” I would have liked to have seen that she had friends, or any sort of life other than her mother, back in Phoenix. The only thing she seems to miss is the sun. It gets a little old to hear her talk about not understanding what Edward could possibly see in her. Although, realistically, I had the same mentality as a teenager, so I could let that go.

I would hesitate to compare with Anne Rice because…well, for me, they are leagues apart. I tend toward Kafka, Orson Welles, Kurt Vonnegut, Poe, etc. for most of my reading. But I do get lots of enjoyment from Rowling. Young adult books, when well written, can be just as entertaining for adults. I can’t put my finger on it, but something is lacking in Meyers’ writing.

Love Peek a Tiny for you

I enjoyed this first book in a Harry Potter-sortof way. It’s good, fun escapism. What I like is how the tempo of the book changes from criminal drama to comedy to fantasy to spy novel, etc, etc… Initially, you aren’t really sure what is going on, but eventually the young anti-hero idea catches on and becomes a very entertaining narrative. Nathaniel Parker provides a fantastic narration, reminiscent of Jim Dale’s excellent characterization for the Potter audio books.
Having finished the first couple books, I’m led to think of the first two books almost as a continuous story, with many of the same characters recurring.
Worth checking out.

No more .. Scar Zone Cream Bruise

The characters are vivid, and the story grabs hold of you and you can’t let go. I stayed up a few nights reading it and was sad to see the end. A must read…

Do you really like Green Packers Bay 20pc ?

First off, let me start by saying I do 100% believe these are actual conversations with God. I don’t think he made it up to try to persuade people of anything, I do believe these are the words of God. I can’t wait to read the second one. It’s interesting for someone like me to rad q book like this becuase it gave me more of an idea what/who God is really about. I’m understanding a lot more how s/he works and operates and this along with others ( books and personal experiences) had made me 100% a believer again.

Take away Sky Spotted v Nebo

The old windshield mount was failing and was a target for thieves. The search for a new mount began. I thought this would be a good alternative to the regular mounts you see. I took it on a two week road trip and it did great. Never, not once did it move while the vehicle was in motion (including sharp turns) and was easy to hide when you would stop for the night or to go eat. Another great thing about it is that you can transfer it from vehicle to vehicle without a fuss.

Don’t you like it when things just work? I do.
