About one third way through the book, I started dreading when it was over. This book transports you to the dark secrets of a circus, bright and attractive visuals, love, hate, and a character that transforms before your eyes!
The author has a wonderful way of being concise, yet still making the story come alive with great detail.

I LOVE THIS BOOK. I cried when it was over BECAUSE it was over. It is my favorite book and all of my past favorites are classics. I am afraid that I will never find another book filled with the elements I like again.

If you are attracted to the past, history, the circus, a little non-cheesy romance, READ THIS!

2WB Maui Beach Bike

I got this book for Christmas this year, I sat down the next day and read the whole thing through in less than two days. It was hard to put down, such a good story and the whole things was very well laid out. It gave a great glimpse into the life on the circus trains during the depression. I highly recommend it.
Just For Tonight Feat

I got the Furminator from Amazon and saved at least $10 or more from the retail pet shops nearby. My only complaint which is insignificant for the money I saved is that it instructs you to keep the comb covered with the plastic protector when not in use. Good idea except for the fact that although my package was sealed, the plastic protector enclosed must belong to a much larger Furminator. I have to keep the cover secured to the Furminator with a rubber band. Other than that it does seem to get a lot of the fine hair out, although I have not seen miraculous results yet as I have a short haired dog. It is shedding season as it is getting warmer out so I continue to use it every day. Looks fine enough to use as a flea comb, too, although they continue to elude me. This 2-2/3 inch edge is almost too big for my sized dog so be sure to get the right size if you have a smaller dog. I was on the fence for the size and decided I’d rather have free shipping and get the bigger size. I wish I would have bought this before the first stiff bristled and brass bristled brush that I got for my dog which is almost useless!

I travel 4-5 days a week on business. I love the Kindle and its ability to carry scores of books with me at once, yet fit in my briefcase. An important part is the long long battery life. Easy to read on airplanes and airports. I HIGHLY recommended.

I am still amazed every time I use the fulminator by how much hair it removes! This may be the first summer that we don’t have to shave our dog because of her mats.

Generally, there shouldn’t be much to review about a book on CD. The story is good. The 3rd CD in this book however was warped beyond being able to listen to it. Sort of leaves one hanging!
Danse Macabre and Havanaise

I like Webb Pierce. I mean, I really like Webb Pierce. I also really like Chet Atkins (his guitar playing, at least – his slick production style is another story). So why does this DVD get only 3 stars? Because like oil and water, Webb and Chet just don’t mix.

Webb Pierce’s double aught twang was a bit much for a lot of people, especially “countrypolitan” record producers like Chet Atkins. Even for a fan like me, Webb’s singing is put in a bizarre perspective when sandwiched between the guitar virtuousity of Chet Atkins. Fans of Chet Atkins who have never heard or seen Webb Pierce will be in for a huge shock; Webb’s gaudy suits are subtle and tasteful compared to his singing. These same fans will also be disappointed to find that Mr. Pierce takes up the bulk of performances on the DVD. Personally, I think that some performance by Bill Monroe and/or Kitty Wells would have been more compatible with Webb’s um… “distinctive” style.

One other minor complaint. Pierce starts most of his songs “dry” – that is, he strums a chord on his gee-tar, starts singing and the band ultimately joins in. This lack of a guitar/steel intro only serves to compound the twanginess of Webb’s voice. At least with Ernest Tubb, we get a patented introduction that lets us know what lies ahead.

On the plus side, there’s some great songs here. Webb does “Walking The Dog” (the Webb Pierce song, not the Rufus Thomas R&B hit), “That Heart Belongs To Me”, “Slowly”, and the ultimate drinking song, “There Stands The Glass” (conspicuous in its absence is “Back Street Affair”). Furthermore, he is joined by Red Sovine and one of the Wilburn Brothers (Teddy?) on “In The Jailhouse Now” and Carl Smith (!) and Marty Robbins (!!) on “Why Baby Why”. That alone is enough reason enough to purchase this DVD. Music lovers everywhere can also rejoice in the fact that Red Sovine and Webb Pierce DO NOT perform “Little Rosa” on this disc.

I Love this GPS mount!!! This was actually the third one I bought. The first was for me,the other two were for gifts for my sister and step dad. It stays put unlike the window or dash mounts and is easily transferable if you change vehicles. I would really recommend this to anyone with a GPS.

I liked this book but wanted to wait until I read all four in order to rate them. Twilight was probably my third favorite out of all of the books. While although I love the books, I felt that this one took too long setting up the characters and situation before you got into the plot line and action points
